Customer care and security are Oriental Yarns primary values, which mean your prized possession is in the safest of hands. We are a UK registered company based in Kent employing the finest rug restorers who have trained in the East and apply ancient methods of restoration to your textiles, returning them to their former glory.

Sales and Valuations can be conducted in your home or place of business and our restoration and cleaning service offers a pickup and delivery facility for you.

Verbal Valuations

These are conducted in your home or place of business.

If you haven’t had your rug valued we strongly recommend you take up this service, due to the price increase experienced in 2008.

Written Valuations

These are required for Insurance purposes.

We provide full colour digital photographs and a detailed written valuation report for each item.

We price by area with a minimum charge.

Prices start from £50 for an area of 2 square meters (21.51 Sq feet).

A charge of £30 per square meter thereafter.

(Thicker pile rugs need twice the attention as the above plus the drying time is doubled but the result is fantastic.)

Everything from frayed fringes to complete reweaves can be achieved by the age old methods of rug restoration. Using the finest yarns and original dyes each piece can be restored back to its original condition for you to enjoy once again.

Due to each rug being unique our pricing is based on the same principle, all rugs are first assessed to see the extent of the work needed then we are able to provide you with a quote.
